Based in France, to the South of Paris, R. Dag has been making guitars since 1975. What started off as a hobby for a musician who was broke (but talented) soon became a semi-profession as orders came in from further and further afield (Europe, USA, Australia...). A lover of bands such as MC5, SRC, Radio Birdman, Johnny Winter, Sonic's Rendez Vous, as well as characters such as Hendrix, Larry Corriel, John Berberian, Don van vliet or Sun ra... his favorite instruments are, you've guessed it, guitars (Crestwoods, Guild S100, Hagstrom Corvette...) but also Saz and Ouds. Both replicas and originals of his collection have proven to be a success amongst his diverse clientele.

some words by Chris "KLONDIKE" Mazuak

Posted : 15/02/2013 à 18:44:22
... about his model "Chris Mazuak signature" (Kay "craftman 50"):

"Roger has fulfilled my long held dream of replicating a special and personal musical treasure...that same treasure that was my first guitar and which I first played in Radio Birdman.

More than simply recreating a long lost friend, he has built me a guitar with a unique personality with his usual eye for detail and with the obvious affection he shows for all of his instruments.

Wonderful work, Roger! I can't thank you enough!"

Bisonic style bass pickups

Posted : 24/05/2012 à 04:11:25
Hello Everybody!

at least I did it! After lots of wasted time due to various manufacturers and general weather conditions(joke) the pickups are finally here! Based on the original design of the BISONIC HAGSTROM(also called "darkstar" by fred Hammon) they are physycally the same (magnetS, bobin sizes, winding and so on), but I have changed few things in order to make it easier to fit and adjust on about any basses with just the change of the pickup ring ( sorry impossible with Fender pu's though the routing remain reasonably small.

First series of only 50sets, guess they won't stay very long... price and info on their pages.
have a nice day
